[Video] The Calkins’ Take a Tour: Chicago’s Shoreline Sightseeing Architectural River Tour

During our weekend in Chicago, we had the opportunity to experience a lot of neat tours around the city. When we arrived, it was later in the evening, but we knew we wanted to check out at least one tour that night, and it just so happened that we stumbled across Shoreline Sightseeing Tours, conveniently included with our Go Chicago Card! Heading down to the river, we were one of the first people in line while we waited to be let on the boat! Once everyone was seated on the boat (we sat up at the top) the tour began and it was a blast. We were shown famous buildings, told a lot of history about many of the buildings including where Al Capone housed a lot of his prohibition era Chicago bars and offices. We also saw a lot of places where they filmed scenes from such movies as Transformers and The Dark Night. We had a lot of fun on this tour and suggest that if ever you’re looking for tours in Chicago, you check out this one!

Here is a compilation of shots that we captured while enjoying the tour.

Happy Traveling!
